Sensor data management and publishing solutions
SensLog is an open solution for receiving, storing, managing, analyzing and publishing sensor data suitable for web and cloud environments. SensLog is a solution suitable for static in-situ sensors as well as for sensors on mobile media or Volunteered geographic information (VGI) collected by smart devices.
SensLog stores data in a database repository with its own data model, but which is consistent with the data models used by the Open Geospatial Consortium (OGC) standards.
SensLog is a modular system where each module is designed as a micro-service to ensure scalability of the overall solution.
SensLog’s interface is made up of HTTP-based web services that use the JSON format for data content. The individual services are designed to allow the full potential of the data model to be exploited while being simple enough to implement on the client side.
The usability of SensLog as a data integrator is enhanced by the mechanism of connectors that transform an existing data provider interface into an internal one.
SensLog publishes data for analytics or visualization applications through a proprietary interface in JSON format or again through a connector.
